Autumn Village Fair. Rain, rain, rain - it rained. A lot. The fete moved to inside the Tythe barn and with the brass band playing we soldiered on. The splendid efforts of everyone helped to raise a tremendous £1,441.29.
Hillcrest planning application approved on 14th Sept by 8 votes to 5. This is despite 44 objections and no letters of support - the CDC planning committee over-ruled the Parish.
The Horse & Groom was sold on 1st September to Cirrus Inns. We wish Will & Tom all the best wherever they head next.
